Treat grass with second application of fertiliser or

weedkiller/fertiliser. Water if the weather has been dry. Avoid cropping

the grass too closely - raise mower blades as required. If the weather

is still dry use the mulching attachment on the mower when the grass is

short and dry. Brushcutters or high-wheel trimmers are useful for

tidying up lawn edges and cutting around trees and along walls.
