June Garden Care

Mow lawns twice a week if possible working to a definite pattern. Water grass if necessary, remembering to soak thoroughly.  If the weather is dry and the grass is dry and your mower has a mulching option, now is the time to mulch. Remove weeds before they set seed.  Check out the Till-A-Matic in store now. This electric hand-held tiller weeds, digs and tills the soil, completing this usually back-breaking task in a flash.  If you spike the lawn after it rains this will help the moisture get to the roots.
